Sometimes at work I take a break and draw on post-it notes. Here was an idle doodle of some Space Marines. Maybe a 10-15 minute sketch...I think....not sure. Anyways, I sketched it out and stuck it up on my desk and forgot about it.
Later, I played a big Apocalypse game where an old game club member returned to play 40k with us again. His team won the game and so, as a tribute I figure I'd scan in this old piece of art and color it up in photoshop.
The color scheme of the armor, weapons, and chapter symbol are all from his homebrew Chapter. I used pics we took of the game as color reference.
