Artist's Comments
Our club of 40k players finally finished a lengthy campaign game and are now ready to start a new one. This new campaign is going to be a team based Imperium vs. Chaos war. This is the poster I did to promote the start of the new campaign.
At the time I started drawing it, I knew for sure that my friend Scooter was going to be playing his Iron Warriors and that my buddy Sam ([link]) would be playing his Dark Angels. So, the two guys on the poster are from those two armies. Later, Jay ([link]), reveals that he is going to be playing in the campaign with his Chaos Marine army of The Fallen. If I would've known that, I could've gone back in and made The Fallen fighting the Dark Angels instead. Drama! Anyways, its all good. Perhaps as the campaign goes on I'll do more art based off of the events and the Fallen will be featured. Or maybe Jay will draw it. Which would be sweet. |
